Barnstable Oysterfest

Welcome to the First Annual Barnstable Oysterfest 2013!

Cape Cod Oysters, Wianno Oysters, and Barnstable Sea Farms invite you to an elegant celebration of Barnstable Oysters overlooking the harbor at Mass Audubon's Long Pasture. All proceeds will benefit the Mass Audubon, the Barnstable Land Trust and the Barnstable Village Civic Association. Savor local oysters while supporting local non-profits in their mission to protect and enhance the environment we call home.

Special thanks to our hosts, the Mass Audubon.

Mass Audubon’s Long Pasture Wildlife  Sanctuary on Barnstable Harbor was established as an active Sanctuary in 2006, and has grown rapidly offering programs for families, children and adults, with classroom curricula and field trips for local students. Long Pasture offers the best of  the Mid and Upper Cape —the aquatic environment that surrounds us. Through educational programming during the academic year for local students, and recreational opportunities during the summer for all ages, we foster knowledge and enjoyment of the habitats and wildlife that make the Cape Cod region so special.  Come discover sanctuary for people and wildlife on Barnstable Harbor!
Mass Audubon works to protect the nature of Massachusetts for people and wildlife. Together with more than 100,000 members, we care for 35,000 acres of conservation land, provide school, camp, and other educational programs for 225,000 children and adults annually, and advocate for sound environmental policies at local, state, and federal levels.
